|Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl|
Friday, June 22nd, 2012
The two main figures in yesterday's brawl at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium have been suspended for 10 games each. That action was taken today by the league commissioner's office and will take effect immediately. The suspended players are Henry Wrigley of the Montgomery Biscuits and Taylor Sinclair of the Mobile Bay Bears.
This year Wrigley is batting .163 with 1 home run and 5 RBIs.
Sinclair has gone to the hill for 11 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 2-0 record with a 4.91 ERA. The Mobile reliever has limited opposing batters to a .235 batting average.
